Jacksonville Celebrates 4th of July a Day Early

On Thursday night, a crowd covered the field at Jacksonville High School football stadium to lionize 4th of July one day early. Kids were there in lines with their parents for face painting; local politicians staffed the gates to distribute patriotic flags and pamphlets for coming elections as well as nearby parking lot were filled beyond capacity. In the meantime, Riley Green, local country musician, sang on stage and more cars traced near the roads where all the families filled the beds of trucks in the minutes leading up to the evening fireworks display.
